Successfully Concluded | International Advanced Fiber Laser Conference (AFL2024)
From November 8 to 10, 2024, the International Advanced Fiber Laser Conference (AFL2024) was successfully held at the Four Points by Sheraton Hotel in Changsha. Fiber lasers have been a frontier and hotspot in the field of laser technology both domestically and internationally in recent years, with wide applications in industry, medical care, scientific research, and other fields. To strengthen academic exchange and promote industry development, the Chinese Optical Engineering Society, together with leading domestic units in the fiber laser field, jointly organized the "International Advanced Fiber Laser Conference (AFL2024)", inviting experts from home and abroad to deeply discuss research progress, technical bottlenecks, and development trends in fiber laser materials, devices, technologies, systems, and applications.

Gather in Beijing! Asia Communications and Photonics International Conference (ACP/IPOC 2024)
From November 2 to 5, 2024, ACP/IPOC 2024 was successfully held at the Hyatt Regency Wangjing Beijing. The Asia Communications and Photonics Conference (ACP) is one of the three major international optical communication conferences. The International Conference on Information Photonics and Optical Communications (IPOC) was initiated in 2013 by the National Key Laboratory of Information Photonics and Optical Communications (Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications). The conference sincerely invites experts and scholars in the field of optoelectronics from across the country to gather in Beijing to participate in the conference, engage in in-depth discussions, and share an academic feast. From October 10 to 11, 2024, the "2024 National Defense Metrology and Testing Academic Exchange Conference," jointly organized by the Second Metrology and Testing Research Center of the National Defense Science and Technology Industry, the Level 2 Metrology Station 4312 of the National Defense Science and Technology Industry, the Key Laboratory of Metrology and Calibration Technology, the Metrology and Testing Professional Committee of the Chinese Society of Astronautics, the Electromagnetic Metrology Professional Committee of the URSI China National Committee, and the editorial department of "Astronautics Measurement and Testing Technology," was successfully held in Changsha, Hunan. The conference was hosted by the Yazhou Bay Science and Technology City Administration and the Hainan Research Institute of East China Normal University, and co-organized by the State Key Laboratory of Precision Spectroscopy at East China Normal University and the Chongqing Research Institute of East China Normal University.
